The Friendly Dog
The Friendly Dog
Learn from them
I came across a dog the other day. I noticed the following:
- wagging of the tail
- puppy dog eyes
- playful behaviour
It was apparent that this dog just wanted some attention. Perhaps even a scratch or a belly rub.
Granted permission by its owner, I then proceeded to do as mentioned above. It then rolled over, thus exposing itself. It trusted a stranger (me). There was no form of hostility. Only openness and trust.
Lesson:
We guard ourselves sometimes too much. We need to hold back and just enjoy the simple things in life.
