Converse Campaign similar to Diesel's "Be Stupid"?

I grabbed a picture of a campaign that caught my attention last week in Melbourne, Australia.

I recognised the brand immediately from the infamous logo. What captured me the most was the copy used.

Here is a series of ads along the road in a popular "Hipster" area for Converse:

The Message here is simple: Sneakers are better than Shoes.

Now, let's look at some of the past executions from Diesel's Be Stupid Campaign:

So, yeah...

Sneakers may be cooler than shoes, but stupid wins hands down :)
